Introduction to Winging
Level 1

$300/person

Get Started

Learn the basics of winging with personalized instruction from Simon, an experienced coach with over 20 years of wind sport expertise and a passion for wingfoiling. Set in the scenic Colourpatch Augusta, our beginner-friendly location offers steady SE winds and soft sandy beaches for a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

What you will learn:

  • Basic handling of a wingsurf board and hand wing.
  • Techniques for balancing and steering.
  • Wind awareness and how to generate power with the wing.

  • Turning and manoeuvring in the water.

  • Safety practices and recovery strategies.

Notes & Disclaimers:

  • No prior water or wind sport experience is required.

  • Progression depends on individual pace and conditions.

  • Maximum 2 students per class for personalised coaching.

  • All equipment, including wingsurf board, hand wing, and Personal Flotation Device (PFD), is provided.

Learn to Wingfoil
Level 2

Advance Your Skills

Designed for those who have completed Level 1, this session builds on foundational skills and introduces wingfoiling techniques to help you take flight. Enjoy expert coaching and top-quality equipment to boost your confidence and control.

What you will learn:

  • Advanced wing control and positioning.

  • Transitioning from the board to foiling.

  • Techniques for smooth water starts.

  • Maintaining balance and direction while foiling.

  • Learn which foils are suitable for beginners and how to setup the foil.

Notes & Disclaimers:

  • Completion of Level 1 is required to participate.

  • Maximum 2 students per class for focused instruction.

  • All equipment, including wingfoil board, hand wing, and PFD, is provided.

Wingfoiling Coaching
Level 3 & Up

$400/person

(2 hours, one-on-one coaching)

Progress Your Riding

Take your wingfoiling to the next level with personalized, real-time coaching from Simon using BB Talkin’ intercom headsets for seamless communication. Whether you want to master advanced maneuvers, fine-tune your equipment setup, or venture into wave riding, this session is tailored to your goals.

Students will receive a Kiteboarding Australia (KA) kiteboarder card, certifying their skills up to the level of their progress in the program.

What you will learn:

  • Perfect gybes, tacks, and transitions.

  • Optimize your foil and board setup.

  • Wave-riding techniques and reef safety.

  • Real-time feedback and demonstration from your coach on the water.
