Smik v4 Wing

This model of foiling wing is one of Simon’s favourites because it has great handling characteristics, especially when flagged out on the wave, has new stretch resistant material on the canopy and has an overall great feel on the water.

Things I like about the different sizes of Smik V4 wing:

6m Smik V4 Wing – Doesn’t feel too large and handles nicely for a larger wing due to slightly flatter wing profile. Still has lots of power.

5m Smik V4 Wing – The go to wing for moderate to fresh wind strength. Great wind range. Feels a little bit smaller than some of the other brands 5m wings which I like because it doesn’t get overpowered too quickly if the wind picks up. Great size for a first wing (this or the 4.5m depending on rider weight and local conditions).

4.5m Smik V4 Wing – Great size for a first wing (this or the 5m, depending on rider weight and local conditions). Similar feel to the 5m but obviously slightly higher wind range.

4.0m Smik V4 Wing – Higher wind wing, handles most wind in the stronger range.

3.5m Smik V4 Wing – When the wind is really nuking this is the one to take out.
